Aleksandra E. Goodin – Legal Assistant
Aleksandra has joined Büdding Legal in March 2018. Besides legal support of the attorneys, she has also assumed a number of managerial duties in the daily operation of the Berlin office. Aleksandra has two Bachelor of Art degrees in English Studies (major in English and American Literature) from the University of Wroclaw, Poland and the San Francisco State University in California. Upon her graduation, Aleksandra began working as a legal assistant at an immigrantion law firm based in San Francisco, CA. She soon expanded her responsibilities to include the office management and continued her professional education in the legal field. In 2005 she obtained a Notary Public license in the state of California. Aleksandra later joined a large corporate personal injury law firm specializing in the tobacco and asbestos litigation. As a team lead in the Bankrupcy Department, Aleksandra became a certified claim specialist, working with major settlement trusts. She subsequently took a position at a San Francisco boutique law firm with the practice areas in the civil, probate and landlord tenant law where she provided legal and managerial support for the office. Since her move to Berlin in 2009, Aleksandra has concentrated on the U.S. immigrantion law, working as a legal assistant initially at a U.S. visa agency, and later as a part of the ‘American Desk’ at a law firm in Frankfurt am Main.

At Büdding Legal, Aleksandra’s responsibilities center around the processes involving the application for the U.S. immigrant and non-immigrant visas, permanent residency (Green Card), naturalization, as well as legal research. She also assists in securing government permits for German citizens who wish to obtain a dual German-American citizenship. Aleksandra in fluent in Polish, English and German.
